Recruitment lead gen

Automated outreach engine for recruitment agencies

An outbound system that spots hiring signals, finds the decision maker, writes a first line from real evidence and runs the sequence. Built for agencies in the US, UK, Netherlands and Belgium.

The situation

Why it needed building.

Most small recruitment agencies are great at delivery and inconsistent at winning new clients. Business development happens in the gaps between placements, and usually stops when the desk gets busy.

We built an engine that keeps new-client outreach running every week. It watches for hiring signals, researches each company, and starts a conversation that’s about the prospect’s actual situation.

What we built

Piece by piece.

STEP 01Signal tracking

New roles posted, roles open for a long time, team growth, new funding: the reasons a company might need a recruiter now.

STEP 02Account research

Company size, sector and location matched against the agency’s niche.

STEP 03Decision makers

Founders, Heads of Talent and hiring managers found and verified, in English and Dutch titles for Benelux.

STEP 04AI pain-point detection

A Clay AI column reads LinkedIn data and returns structured JSON: the pain, the evidence quote, and a confidence score.

STEP 05Sequences

One pain point, one offer per sequence. 4–5 touches, A/B tested subject lines.

STEP 06Compliance

GDPR and Dutch Telecommunicatiewet considerations built into list-building for the Netherlands.

Under the hood

Personalisation with evidence, not guesses.

The AI doesn’t invent compliments. It returns a pain point, the evidence behind it and where it came from, so the email only says things that are true.

// Clay AI column · output for one prospect (sample) { "company": "Northwind Talent", "pain_point": "Tech desk growing faster than new-client pipeline", "evidence": "3 recruiters hired in 60 days; no BD role posted", "source": "LinkedIn company page", "confidence": "high", "first_line": "Noticed three new recruiters on your tech desk since July." }
What changed

The difference it makes.

We only publish numbers clients have verified. These are the changes in how the work gets done.

Outreach that never pauses

New-client outreach runs every week, not only when the desk is quiet.

Messages with evidence

Every email opens with something true and specific about the prospect.

One pain, one offer

Cleaner sequences, clearer replies, easier to see what works.
